While I am not at all a fan of new year resolutions, I do like to take advantage of the opportunity that new Christmas toys provide. This year we had to move some toys to larger buckets to accommodate more received as gifts, and give away some outgrown toys to make room for the new ones. While I was at it, I decided to add some simple labels to the bins.
I used Word to create eight blue text boxes on one 8.5x11 page. I did a google image search for each type of toy, and added a picture beneath each label. I printed the labels on sticker paper, and cut them out. Easy peasy.
Not too creative, but an incredibly easy way to get several mismatched storage bins to look a bit uniform. And, it has helped J keep his room clean the last three weeks.
