Knight and dragon themed quiet activites...

The last month or so I have been printing off themed activity pages for my son to do while he is sitting quietly in church.  I have just been picking a theme and searching for appropriate activities online.  I decided to start linking to them, so that I can find them again in the future.  I also throw pipe cleaners and related books from the library, because an hour and a half is a long time for a little boy to sit quiet and still.

Coloring pages and activities:

Knight to the rescue maze - http://www.activityvillage.co.uk/knights_theme_mazes.htm

Dot to Dot dragon (count 1-15) - http://www.abcteach.com/free/m/ma_dot_dragon_to_15.pdf

Paper knight to color and paste (2 pages, to be cut out by ahead of time) - http://www.dltk-kids.com/fantasy/mpaperknight.htm

Knight and drawbridge coloring page  (pictured above)- http://www.activityvillage.co.uk/knight_and_drawbridge_coloring.htm

Related books:

When Dragons Hearts were Good - Buddy Davis (great biblical worldview)

The Knight and the Dragon - Tomie dePaola (silly book with few words)

Puff the Magic Dragon - Peter Yarrow (weird choice, I know)

Alphabet Quest - Ned Bustard (from the Phonics Museum readers)

Other quiet things:

Plastic dinosaurs, and a plastic knight if you have them for quiet play.
